After several failed town meeting votes, the Shaker Regional School District requested a simple but high quality building design that would provide state-of-the-art facilities for their 450 high school students. With a revised budget of just over six million dollars for a new high school, the bond passed easily on the first attempt.

The building is constructed of durable concrete block interior walls, with a red brick and metal paneling system exterior veneer. Site work includes two soccer fields, two baseball fields, a rubberized track, and over two hundred sixty parking spaces for staff and students, situated on a beautiful thirty-seven acre fielded site.
